Angola

A country of southwest Africa bordering on the Atlantic Ocean. Previously settled by Bantu-speaking people, the region was colonized by the Portuguese beginning in the 16th century and became an overseas province in 1951. The country achieved independence in 1975, but factional fighting broke out, which elections in 1992 failed to end.

Required Items/Steps Checklist

# Description
1 Passport Requirements: Send us your original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). The Amendment pages in the back of the passport can't be used for visa stamp.
2 Visa Application Form: Two visa application forms per applicant properly completed and signed. Signature must be original on each application. Improperly completed forms may delay the processing of your visa.

NOTE:   This is an Escort Visa service only: Applicants have to appear in person to submit biometrics at the consulate and we can assist to make sure all documents are correct and pickup for the applicant once filed.

3 Photo Requirements: Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/light background. (snapshots are not accepted).
4 A letter of invitation sent by from public or private entity resident in Angola, notarized by Public Notary and recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
5 Copy of travel itinerary
6 Statement of Service and school proof in case of a student / Business Letter for company employees 
7 Copy of the Identity of the signer of the letter of call
8 International Certificate of vaccines (yellow fever)
9 Disclaimer for minors, notarzed
10 Reserve Hotel 10 pays for tourists

Bank Statement (guarantee means equivalent to USD $ 200.00 for each day of stay in Angola subsistence).

NOTE:  The above figure may be waived if the applicant prove by a document issued by the Angolan citizen or resident alien, work visa holder or the governing body of the company or institution that invites taking responsibility for their stay in the country.

12 Complete the Passport Rush Service Order Form. You must include a copy of this form with all other supporting documents.  Consular fees are NON-refundable. If visa is rejected and resubmitted new consular fees will apply).

NOTE:  The Consular Fee of $141.00 MUST be paid by deposit into Bank Of America account number 226007089976.  It should be noted that the provision of services will be made only upon presentation of the said banking proof due.

Visa Processing Time

Visas are usually processed in 7 working days.  Rush and Emergency service may be available for additional fees.   Please visit our Consular Fees page for details. Rush and Emergency service is defined as any attempt made by Passport Rush to retrieve the visa in less time than the amount required by the embassy to process the visa.

Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased until all visas and passports are secured and in your possession.
