Chad |
|
a landlocked country in central Africa. It is bordered by Libya to the
north, Sudan to the east, the Central African Republic to the south,
Cameroon and Nigeria to the southwest, and Niger to the west. Due to its
distance from the sea and its largely desert climate, the country is
sometimes referred to as the "Dead Heart of Africa". Chad is divided
into three major geographical regions: a desert zone in the north, an
arid Sahelian belt in the centre and a more fertile Sudanese savanna
zone in the south.

us your original, signed
passport valid
for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page
available for visa stamp(s). The Amendment pages in the back of
the passport can't be used for visa stamp. |

Application Form: Three
visa application forms per applicant
properly completed and signed. Signature must be original on
each application. Improperly completed forms may delay the
processing of your visa. |

Photo Requirements: Three
recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs, in color, front view and
with a plain/light background. (snapshots are not accepted).

Proof of Departure:
Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel
agency, copy of airline ticket or a corporate letter stating
travel plans. A signed letter on the travel agency’s letterhead
confirming round-trip booking may also be submitted.

For Business Travelers:
Business Letter - Original letter from employer or
sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the
applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position
held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit.
For Tourists: An
original letter of employment, certifying that the applicant is
an employee of the company and in good standing, is required.
The letter must indicate the dates for which leave was approved
and the intended date of return to the company. |

International certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever. |

Visas are usually valid for
one month from the date of issue. The visa can be extended in
Chad if required. |

Visa Processing Time
Visas are usually processed
in 4 working days. Rush service may be
available for additional fees. Please visit our
Consular Fees page for details. Rush service is
defined as any attempt made by Passport Rush to retrieve the
visa in less time than the amount required by the embassy to
process the visa.
Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased
until all visas and passports are secured and in your
