British Visa Application Form:
One visa
application form per applicant. Please note: The Consulate of
the United Kingdom has introduced a web-based visa application
form. Applicants must follow the step by step instructions and
pay visas fees online.
Important Information:
Upon completion of the application
form, the applicant will be prompted to schedule an appointment
to submit biometric information. This biometric information
consists of scans of all 10 fingers and a full-face digital
photograph. The visa application must be submitted no earlier
than 24-36 hours after and no later than 2 weeks after biometric
submission.
From March 27th 2015, United Kingdom Visas and
Immigration (UKVI) will be making changes to the visa
application process for children under the age of 5 years
applying from within the USA. Children in this category will now
be required to attend a biometric appointment to have their
photograph taken. Fingerprints will not be required.
This
change will bring the enrolment process in the United States in
line with that currently in place across the rest of the world.
This policy change is designed to protect children and safeguard
against identity theft. Captured images will be printed on visas
and used to produce Biometric Residence Permits, where
applicable.

be declined.

Financial Requirements:
Proof of sufficient funds; a minimum of 800 pounds
(additional 533 pounds for each accompanying dependant), This
can be applicant's personal funds; proof in the form of bank
statements (originals, no on-line statement) showing sufficient
funds in the account for a minimum period of 3 months - or - the
sponsor can certify that they will be responsible for
maintenance of applicant and dependents; written evidence must
be submitted.

Other Requirements:
All applicants under Tier 2 (Skilled Worker) need a sponsor. The
sponsor is a UK based organization who wishes to employ you in
the United Kingdom. In order to sponsor applicants, an employer
will need to have registered as a licensed sponsor. The sponsor
will need to meet the requirements for the particular category
within Tier 2, and accept certain responsibilities to help with
immigration control. More information is available on the
UK Border Agency website. The sponsor will need to assign a
Certificate of Sponsorship before you can apply for entry
clearance (a visa) under Tier 2. The Certificate of Sponsorship
will act as an assurance that you are able to undertake a
particular job and intend to do so. |

Visa Processing Time
Visas are usually processed
in 5-7 working days.
In order to ensure that
visa applications for most embassies/consulates are submitted on
the day that we receive them, they should be shipped to us via
FedEx Priority Overnight (not First Overnight or Standard
Overnight).
Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased
until all visas and passports are secured and in your
possession.
