Mexico

Mexico is a federal constitutional republic in North America. It is bordered on the north by the United States; on the south and west by the Pacific Ocean; on the southeast by Guatemala, Belize, and the Caribbean Sea; and on the east by the Gulf of Mexico.  Covering almost 2 million square kilometres (over 760,000 sq mi), Mexico is the fifth-largest country in the Americas by total area and the 14th largest independent nation in the world. With an estimated population of 111 million, it is the 11th most populous country.

Required Items/Steps Checklist

# Description
1 A visa is not required for stay of up to 30 days.  An FMT card will be issued free of charge by the airline upon arrival.
2 Passport Requirements: Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). The Amendment pages in the back of the passport can't be used for visa stamp.
3 Proof of Departure: Confirmed round-trip or onward airline ticket.
4 For Business Travelers:  Business Letter - Letter from employer or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the traveler, indicating the traveler’s employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in host country.
5 Minors: (under 18 years of age), traveling alone or with only one parent or with someone other than their parents, must show a notarized letter of permission signed by the parent/parents not traveling. In the case of a single parent traveling with a minor, a certified copy of divorce decree and court order showing sole custody, certified copy of birth certificate naming one parent, a notarized copy of a death certificate or other legal documents proving custody or guardianship.
