Uzbekistan

A country of west-central Asia. Settled in ancient times, it was conquered by Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, and Tamerlane and finally overrun by Uzbek peoples in the early 16th century. Russia conquered the area in the 19th century. Split into various administrative territories after 1917, it was consolidated as a constituent republic of the USSR in 1924. Uzbekistan declared its independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Required Items/Steps Checklist

# Description
1 Passport Requirements: Send us your original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). The Amendment pages in the back of the passport can't be used for visa stamp.
2 Visa Application Form: One visa application form per applicant properly completed and signed. Signature must be original on each application. Improperly completed forms may delay the processing of your visa. 

Only typed applications are accepted for processing. Type in CAPITAL LETTERS ONLY (Embassy Requirement) then print and sign.

3 Photo Requirements: One recent 2 x 2 passport type photograph, in color, front view and with a plain/light background. (snapshots are not accepted).
4 For Business Travelers: 
  • Business Letter - Original letter from employer or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Brazil. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in host country.
  • Invitation Letter issued by the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
5 Complete the Passport Rush Service Order Form You must include a copy of this form with all other supporting documents. (NOTE: Consular fees are NON-refundable. If visa is rejected and resubmitted new consular fees will apply).

Visa Validity

Tourist visas only allow 30 days stay.  Business visas are based on invitation.

Visa Processing Time

Visas are usually processed in 7 working days.  Rush and Emergency service may be available for additional fees.   Please visit our Consular Fees page for details. Rush and Emergency service is defined as any attempt made by Passport Rush to retrieve the visa in less time than the amount required by the embassy to process the visa.

Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased until all visas and passports are secured and in your possession.
